\"new-label-orange\"<\/a>The wait is over! Our 6″x8″ Hologram Upgrades and Film has officially launched.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In continuing our efforts to push the limits, you can now go beyond the previous limit of 4″x5″ holograms to an even bigger size, 6″x8″.\u00a0 Of course this is still with our C-RT20 Instant Hologram Film<\/a>, so you will be making 6″x8″ holograms that are ready to view immediately after exposure, and without any chemicals or processing.<\/p>\n

Options, options, options…<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nAlong with the film, we are also introducing a 6″x8″ Upgrade Kit.\u00a0<\/a> This upgrade comes in two options: with a larger 20mW laser or without a 20mW laser.\u00a0 We recognized that some people might already have a 20mW laser from the 4″x5″ Upgrade Kit<\/a> so we wanted to provide a more cost efficient product!<\/p>\n

Similarly, we now have 2 options for the 4″x5″ Upgrade Kit<\/a> as well.\u00a0 The new option is that you can purchase the 4″x5″ upgrade and use the standard laser from the regular Hologram Kit.\u00a0 The previous\u00a0 option to get the 4″x5″ upgrade with an upgraded 20mW laser is still available, so that you can make 4″x5″ holograms faster.<\/p>\n

You may be asking…<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Why can a 4″x5” Upgrade now use the regular Hologram Kit<\/a> 5mW laser, when it previously required the larger 20mW laser?” or “Why does the laser from the previous 4″x5″ upgrade work for larger 6″x8″ plates?\u00a0 Shouldn’t I need an even bigger laser?”<\/p>\n

More details are coming soon, but the short answer is that our hologram film is even better than we realized!<\/strong>\u00a0 We had always been cautious about the “threshold” effect of our unique photopolymer material, but we have now tested and verified that less laser power is needed for larger plates. The exciting upside is that now 4″x5″ holograms can be made with the regular Hologram Kit 5mW laser, and the 20mW laser that we have provided for our 4″x5″ holograms can now also be used for our new 6″x8″ upgrades!<\/p>\n
